Questions? We Have Answers.

And unlike some window companies, we won't make you sit through a presentation to get them.

Traditional window companies have massive overhead: sales commissions (often 15-25% of your quote), showroom costs, and marketing budgets for TV and radio. Our direct-to-consumer model eliminates the middlemen. You're paying for windows and professional installation — not someone's commission.

No. The price you see in the configurator includes the window, standard installation, and basic exterior trim. The only variables are permit fees (which vary by municipality and are passed through at cost) and any structural modifications if your opening needs resizing — which we'd discuss with you before proceeding.

Yes. We offer monthly payment options so you can spread the cost over time. You'll see financing options during checkout. We never use financing as a pressure tactic — it's there if you want it.

Because hidden pricing allows salespeople to adjust the "discount" based on how much they think you'll pay. It's an intentional strategy. We believe you should see the price before a salesperson sees you.

We carry windows across three quality tiers — Good, Better, and Best — from trusted manufacturers. Our configurator lets you compare features and pricing across tiers so you can find the right balance for your home and budget.

Yes. All windows in our catalog meet or exceed Energy Star requirements for your climate zone. Our configurator shows energy performance ratings (U-factor, SHGC, STC) for each option so you can compare.

Vinyl is the most affordable and lowest-maintenance option — great for most homes. Fiberglass is stronger and more dimensionally stable, ideal for large openings or extreme climates. Wood offers a classic look and excellent insulation but requires periodic maintenance. Our configurator shows you each option with real-time pricing so you can compare.

We work with a network of certified installers — experienced professionals who meet our quality and service standards. Your installer is a local pro, not a subcontractor hired off Craigslist.

Most standard projects (5-10 windows) are completed in a single day. Larger projects or homes requiring structural modifications may take 2 days. Your installer will confirm the timeline before your scheduled date.

Your installer arrives at the scheduled time, protects your interior floors and furniture, removes the old windows, installs the new ones, insulates and seals each opening, and cleans up. They'll walk you through operation and care before leaving.

Yes, we ask that an adult (18+) be present during the installation. This is for your security and so the installer can communicate with you if any decisions come up.

Our AI measurement gets you to within 1/4 inch for most standard windows — accurate enough for quoting. Every measurement is verified by your installer on-site before ordering, so there's no risk of an incorrect fit.

Totally fine. The configurator offers three paths: AI photo measurement, manual entry (if you have measurements), or skip and let the installer measure on-site. The AI option just saves you a step.

Yes, up until the windows go into production (typically 48 hours after order placement). After that, changes may incur a restocking fee depending on the manufacturer. We'll confirm your production timeline in your order confirmation email.

All windows include the manufacturer's warranty (which varies by brand and tier — typically 20 years to lifetime on glass and frame). Installation is backed by our separate workmanship guarantee. Full warranty details are provided in your order confirmation.

Standard lead time is 3-6 weeks from order, depending on the manufacturer and window configuration. Custom sizes or specialty options may take longer. We'll give you a specific estimate at checkout.

Zig is our AI window assistant. He's available on every page — look for the chat button in the bottom corner. He can answer questions about window types, energy ratings, pricing, installation, and anything else you'd normally have to call a salesperson to ask. He won't try to sell you anything.

Yes. Tell Zig about your home, your climate, what matters to you (noise, energy savings, looks), and he'll walk you through your options. He knows our full product catalog and can explain the tradeoffs between materials, styles, and brands in plain English.

No — Zig is an AI assistant. If you'd prefer to talk to a human, you can request a consultation anytime and a real person will follow up.
