Anthony Moorman
I sold windows for Renewal by Andersen and a few other companies after 12+ years in residential real estate. Long enough on the rep's side of the kitchen table to know exactly how the four-hour pitch is built. I started OneStep so homeowners could get straight answers without sitting through one.

I started OneStep Windows because I spent two and a half years sitting in homeowners' living rooms with a binder, watching them get talked into $30,000 window jobs they didn't need to be sold to in the first place. The product was usually fine. The experience was the problem.
When I wasn't selling windows, I was selling homes — twelve-plus years as a residential agent, trainer, and brokerage operator. I sat across the table from hundreds of buyers who had just inherited someone else's window decision and were quietly recalibrating their offer because of it. Windows are one of the few home improvements that touch energy bills, comfort, resale value, and curb appeal at the same time. They deserve a buying process that respects that.
OneStep is the version of the window-buying experience I wish every homeowner I ever sat with had been offered. Transparent pricing. No in-home sales reps. Phone-video measurement. A 3D configurator that shows you exactly what you're buying. And Zig, an AI consultant who answers questions without trying to close you.

Editorial role
I write and technically review every window-related article on this site. When you read a buyer guide here, the comparisons, trade-offs, and recommendations are filtered through the same person who sat in those Renewal by Andersen consultations and walked those Mid-Atlantic homes. If something on the site is wrong, the responsibility is mine.
Every window-related page on this site is written or reviewed by Anthony. The single-author E-E-A-T signal compounds — see the playbook for why.
